We are a progressive cricket club, based in Northenden, a leafy suburb of South Manchester. We have 3 senior men's teams & junior teams, these past few seasons we have been concentrating re-developing Under 9's to Under 13's. Our Senior teams are members of the Greater Manchester Cricket League and Wythenshawe CC are past members and historically the most successful club in the now disbanded Manchester & District Cricket Association. We have our own website here

The excellence of our junior development and commitment to excellent standards are recognised by the award and we were successful in being re accredited with ClubMark officiated by the ECB. We are also a Focus Club with Lancashire Cricket Board and were worthy recipients of The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Award (Fields in trust) & Manchester Sports Club runners up award 2012 and 2014

We continue to invest in securing training for our quality coaches at both senior and junior level to develop the playing standards of all our cricketers. We are also dedicated to improving our facilities as funding allows, we took significant steps in 2013/14 & 15 with the installation of new state of the art outdoor netting facility with joint funding received from ECB & Willow Park Housing Trust. We have exciting plans to continue to develop our ground (deemed one of the best maintained in the north west) with the addition of a 3G multi use games area (MUGA) changing room & accessible toilet facilities plus our brand new scoreboard & 2 extra sightscreens are now in situ after being in our development plan.

We would like to ask all members to try to contribute what you can in terms of time, commitment, ideas, practice, coaching and support as we once again look to take the club forward in 2018.

If you are interested in joining our progressive and friendly club then please contact us on or telephone 01619987268. We are always on the lookout for quality and committed cricketers at all levels.

Wythenshawe CC will once again be a host centre for the NEW National ECB initiative ALL STARS CRICKET, moving into it's 2nd year of development nationally.

All Stars is a Nationwide Entry Level cricket development programme, which is advertised on national radio, television and social media. For JUST £40 Boys and girls get a full kit bag of bat, hat, drinks bottle, personalised t-shirt and more delivered to their door, then head to us to join in the fun on eight Thursday evenings from May 17th 6:15pm until 7pm.

We are always particularly keen to attract new recruits, volunteers, coaches and as always new junior cricketers are very welcome in readiness for the start of the 2018 season and winter training is soon to be confirmed for Snr & Jnr cricket.
